Revised COVID-19 Statement

As an organization, we wanted to let everyone know we’re reading and responding to your comments/concerns (thanks for the feedback and information), to provide some Covid Policy clarification, and to keep everyone equally informed.  Therefore, the information below is unofficial.

We were unaware of all the specifics regarding the Covid vaccinations for minors.  The general consensus, for many reasons, is that vaccines will not be available for teenagers prior to the June 2021 camps.  For students the board will be developing another Covid Policy.  For adults our Covid Policy currently remains unchanged, i.e., vaccines will be required for all volunteers and camp leaders (we’ll discuss/deal with availability separately).  Our primary concern is for the safety and welfare of all camp attendees.  Any official policy updates will be made in coordination with members of the medical community and comply with Wyoming and CDC requirements.  For now, please understand that flexibility will be key for all planning.

As noted, we are trying very hard to keep the camps and plans on schedule.  If you’re interested in signing up for any of the camps, I encourage you to follow the wait list registration instructions (open 5 PM on Friday February 5, 2021 through 11:59 PM on Friday February 26, 2021).  If you have comments during the registration process, please utilize that section of the form.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any information, questions, or concerns.

Thanks for understanding.
