Unfortunately, due to coronavirus pandemic safety concerns for our students and volunteers,
we have decided to cancel the 2020 Wyoming MTB Camps:
After considerable deliberation during the past two months and during our recent board meeting, it is with great sadness that we have decided to cancel all of the Stone Temple and Granite Ridge youth mountain bike camps scheduled for June 2020. We felt that student and volunteer safety was the most important aspect we had to consider. With that at that forefront and with permit and insurance deadlines looming, the board agreed the most prudent course of action was to cancel the June camps. We will/have initiated the camp cancellation process through Eventbrite and everyone should receive a full refund shortly. Please be patient, but let us know if you haven’t received your refund or heard from EventBrite by May 12th.
We are working with Wyoming State Parks to determine if dates later in the year are available, however, Hynds Lodge is currently reserved almost every day through the end of the 2020 season. Wyoming Mountain Bike Camps is also assessing the feasibility of hosting one-day training-skill sessions for later in 2020 (July, August, or possibly September). Obviously there are too many variables and unknowns to make any decisions at this time. We would, however, like to know if there is any interest from you in attending a 1-day, or possibly a 2-day, camp. Please let us know what you’re thinking and how you feel about these possible options, or if you have other suggestions/ideas.
We want to thank you all for your past support of the camps, including your interest and support for the 2020 camps. We have already begun the planning process for 2021. We anticipate the 2021 camp dates and schedule-lineups will be similar to those proposed for the 2020 camps.
Hopefully we can get back to prepping for fun bike adventures sooner than later! Hoping you all are able to stay active and healthy!
